Antique French Cross Crucifix Wood Grave Marker Hand Made Memorial

We are happy to be able to offer for your consideration this handmade French crucifix. Made of solid wood with a corpus that is made of cast metal and gilt with a silver finish. It measures 25” tall. It is in very good condition condition.
This handmade crucifix was originally used as a grave marker. In France traditionally they use a wooden grave marker while they are waiting to have a permanent one make one out of iron or Marvel or stone . The family of the deceased keep the original handmade wooden cross as a memory of their family member.
This price is in very good used condition. There is some oxidization to the wood On the bottom from when it was in the ground.
