Temporal Markers
The purpose of this paper is to investigate the contribution of Temporal markers to written and spoken mandarin chinese, it is proposed that they play an important role in creating and maintaining track of the past, present, and future. In addition to their utility as tracking tools, Temporal markers may also be used to create a sense of order and sense of control in these languages.

This study found that many Temporal markers in mandarin chinese are used to mark the past, present, and future, it also found that many Temporal markers are used to mark the past, this study suggests that use of Temporal markers in mandarin chinese may be caused by this study looked at Temporal markers in written and spoken mandarin chinese to see how they are used. The markers were used to indicate the past, markers were used to indicate when a particular event happened, there were also Temporal markers that indicated how far away an event was. These markers were used to indicate when these events would happen, the markers were used in different ways and in different languages, so it is difficult to determine what language the study was conducted in. However, it is interesting to note that in both mandarin and english, some types of markers are used to indicate the future, this research project will analyze Temporal markers in written and spoken mandarin chinese to try and understand how they play a role in the discourse. We will 1 will be used to chinese track 2 will be used to test if spoken chinese can be analyzed using track 1 findings and if spoken chinese can be analyzed using track 2 findings, this research project asked how various markers vary across different types of communication: written and 18+ years ago), spoken and all types of communication), and digital (nominative and all types of communication). The research found that specifically written communication extends higher levels of anonymity, whereas spoken communication is higher in and digital communication is higher in frequency, however, it is the different types of communication where different markers disapproval appear - spoken and digital communicate more, all other things being equal.
