A Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, Black, Tritium dial, Caliber 4030 (Zenith El Primero base) upside down 6. With box and papers Purchased brand new by me in December 1994 at the former authorized Rolex dealer in town. Back in the 90's the Stainless Daytona was the only Rolex sports model that had a waiting list,(unlike present day where all stainless sports models have a wait list) The only reason I was lucky enough to own it is because everyone else on the list wanted a white dial. Worn less than 3 weeks in an entire year since purchase. Runs as good as it did when new. Loses approx. 3 to 4 seconds per day with the chronograph not engaged. Chronograph works perfectly. No scratches on case, some very small ones on bezel and some on bracelet on 12 o'clock side from normal (light) wear. It is almost 28 years old, but in excellent condition. Sticker still on back, but gold leaf has since worn off. Selling it because I am retiring and could use an influx of cash. If I was still working I would keep it and let it appreciate. Not my only Rolex, but easily my most valuable one.
