Description : Each unique plaque is individually handcrafted for you at T. Michael Studios from BLACK ( standard) or semi-weathering brown/Grey Pennsylvania slate. Rustic, Hand-cut slate with natural chipped edges.

Stone Carved, Size : 6.5" x 10" around 1/4" thick. 

Each piece of slate is very special. Most of the slate I use has been reclaimed from Historical buildings and barns throughout the heartland. Every piece that leaves my studio has a history of its own, and a journey that it has taken. Once I receive it, I sculpt it and mold it into a new form for someone who now will use it to enhance their life and create a new history with their family.

Engraving :  1 to 5 numbers.....1 to 4 numbers Approx. 3" high /  5 numbers with be approx.  2.75" high. (Please enter engraved info in the "note" section of payment form.")

Slate :Coloring Options:~ Black slate/ white/gold numbers (Shown).  Grey with Brown weathering slate/ Black numbers [link removed by eBay]     History : Slate is a very durable rock formed in the earth over 400 millions ago. It has a very low absorption rate to water, which makes it great for outdoor conditions.  Even with its thin properties, it very durable and strong which is why it's used in many industrial applications, such as : roofing, pool tables and blackboards.

Mounting  : Great on door, stone, brick or wood.  Comes with 2 holes. Hardware included or Mounting Screws. Consult home improvement store for installation on your particular surface.
