We do not carve the stone until you have approved this graphic. Please you are responsible to make sure all information for the stone on that graphic is accurate. Once you approve that graphic that is what will be carved into the stone and cannot be changed. We carve everyday in our shop and try to get these shipped in 3-5 business days from the time of approved graphic. River rocks are know for their smooth surfaces that make for excellent carving. Each stone is unique with only the common traits of round to oval and relatively flat. We select the rocks for the top face or the engraving side. In this face we are looking for good carving surface. No stone is the same and no stone is perfect. This stone is intended to memorialize a pet as a marker or garden stone. Please understand we do not select stones that have a second surface that meets the engraving needs of the first. The back is not a surface intended to be seen. If you need s stone for your application that has a second side as the first we can provide a listing for this that will add 60.00 to the cost of this stone. Colors vary as we have noted and we do not allow for color selection at this price. We would create a listing with 4-5 stones in the color you prefer for you to select from. The cost will add 60.00 tot he price of the stone. We ship these stones in USPS priority mail. We have been so for many years now. Please understand the boxes take a beating by the carriers but we have found through our experience of literally shipping 10's of thousands of these that how we pack and how we ship is by far the best method. That said we still hear about how boxes arrive beaten up with the stones fine. If you need the box to arrive in the best condition possible we can set a listing for you that foam packs the stone to custom size. The box will still show wear but will look the best it can on arrival. The cost of this adds 22.80 to any river stone. We have had only 3 of these type stones ever be damaged from the shipping process. USPS has over the last year has lost about .5 packages out of 100. So this can happen- tracking is provided and if your stone has not arrived in 3-4 days check tracking and let us know. If they have lost your package we will replace and file the claim. If for any reason other than damage you just do not like your stone we will always refund 100% of your cost just ship the stone back. We strive to make sure everyone is happy with their purchase.
