These Infrared Markers are restricted to sales within the United States, no foreign orders will be accepted. The only item for sale are the SCHIM Infrared Markers For your consideration I have placed a collection of a lot of 5 new Soldiers Combat Helmet infrared Markers, model 144 (SCHIM 144).  These are the same units issued to US Armed Forces members, used to mark equipment, friendly individuals, rescue operations as well as other numerous taskings. Do not limit these markers for personnel identification, consider that these markers are perfect as ranging markers, allowing you to zero your sights, night vision devices or to create distance markers to help in your hunting ranging. As you range your hunting areas, using a night vision device, you would be able to determine the distance to your bow or rifle shoot.  Their usage is only limited by your imagination and needs.
Each SCHIM is an Infrared IFF device that fits into the button holes on a standard GI Helmet Cover or onto any gear which have molle/pals straps (secured by user supplied tape). They produce a distinct glow when infrared light is shown on them, but only when viewed through night vision devices. These small patches are used as IFF devices for friendly forces and make it much easier to keep track of team mates during night operations.  When used with an infrared lighting source, they may be detected up to 800 meters away, using ambient light, dependent upon your night vision device will detect them at about 400 meters.
IR Reflective Patches are extremely important for any tactical team. Blue on blue situations can happen very easily at night. Night vision devices are not magic and can sometimes create confusion in dynamic movement. IR hardware helps to quickly identify friendlies. The 144 SCHIM is a great little device because it does not require Velcro Loop patches on the operator’s helmet. Since most active duty U.S. Military personnel are required to use a helmet cover, the SCHIM is a perfect solution for field IFF. This auction is for a lot of 5 markers, more than enough for one individual to place upon a helmet, rucksack, gear bag or upon their uniform.  This will allow them to be identified as a friendly force. As I package my items as I post them, these IR markers will ship out no later than the next day (Sunday excluded), providing you with a very fast shipping process; 5 sets or more will ship out by USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail envelope.
