This pocket edition is different from the other Deseret Book editions in that it is bound in genuine top grain cowhide leather and features a snap closed cover. These were never sold, but were only given as Christmas gifts in 1987 to all Church employees. This one still has the tipped in note from the First Presidency on the inside front cover (Ezra Taft Benson, Gordon B. Hinckley, and Thomas S. Monson), as shown. It has beautiful gold gilt outer page edging. Don't pass up your chance to add this one to your collection! Condition: Excellent++ leather bound Book! The binding is tight and all 434 pages within are bright white with NO WRITING, UNDERLINING, HIGH-LIGHTING, RIPS, TEARS, BENDS OR FOLDS with the exception of a small name on the second blank page (as shown).
